Great experience, which is not easy to come by for a Dental office. The staff were all so kind and friendly. The Dr. is amazing. He took his time to talk to me about any issues I may have. He never rushed throughout the appointment and gave me many options as to what I wanted or needed. You can tell they really care about their patients and aren't trying to just rush you out. My cleaning was great and the hygienist was very thorough with cleaning.

Crafting Your Perfect Smile with Crowns & Bridges

Dental Crowns: Your Smile's Armor

A dental crown is a fixed restoration designed to fit over a damaged or decayed tooth. It acts as a shield, protecting and strengthening the tooth while restoring its shape, size, and aesthetic. Crowns are versatile solutions, used to treat a range of issues such as:

  • Protecting weak teeth from breaking or restoring broken teeth
  • Covering and supporting teeth with large fillings
  • Anchoring a dental bridge in place
  • Covering misshapen or severely discolored teeth
  • Restoring dental implants

With state-of-the-art materials that mirror the translucency and strength of natural enamel, our crowns don't just last - they look great, too!

Getting Your Crown

Getting a dental crown typically involves two visits to the dentist. Here’s what you can expect:

The First Visit

During the first appointment, the tooth is prepared by removing decay and shaping the remaining structure. An impression is taken to create a custom crown, which matches the shape, size, and color of your teeth. A temporary crown is placed to protect the tooth while the permanent crown is made.

The Second Visit

At the second visit, the temporary crown is removed, and the permanent crown is carefully fitted, adjusted, and cemented into place, restoring the tooth's function and appearance with a seamless fit and a natural look.

Dental Bridges: Bridging the Gaps

Where there is tooth loss, a dental bridge can fill the gap left behind. Dental bridges close the gap created by one or more missing teeth. Made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and a false tooth/teeth in between, bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants. They are a great solution to:

  • Restore your smile
  • Maintain the shape of your face
  • Distribute the forces in your bite properly
  • Prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position

Getting Your Bridge

Like a crown, it typically takes two visits to receive a bridge.

The First Visit

The process for receiving a dental bridge starts with preparing the abutment teeth on either side of the gap. These teeth are reshaped to anchor the bridge. Impressions are taken to create a custom bridge, which includes two crowns and a false tooth (or teeth) in between. A temporary bridge may be placed to protect the exposed teeth and gums.

The Second Visit

Once the permanent bridge is crafted, you’ll return for a second visit where the temporary bridge is removed, and the new bridge is adjusted for fit and bite. It’s then cemented into place, beautifully restoring functionality and your smile’s continuity.

The Unseen Benefits of Crowns or Bridges

Choosing a crown or bridge goes beyond aesthetics; it's about comfort, function, and health. The many benefits include:

  • Enhanced chewing and speaking abilities
  • Prevention of jawbone deterioration and facial collapse
  • Long-lasting durability with proper care
  • Boosted self-esteem and confidence

Our commitment to advanced dental care ensures that your crowns and bridges are fabricated and placed with precision and care.
